With over 20 years of experience coaching sport, Amanda brings passion, energy, and a deep commitment to helping individuals achieve their fitness goals. Her enthusiasm for health and movement is rooted in a lifelong dedication to sport and education, including a Sports Science degree from Loughborough University, which has given her a strong foundation in physiology, biomechanics, and evidence-based training. At Athletic Edge, she combines this academic background with hands-on coaching to deliver results-driven, personalised programmes.

As a fully qualified Pilates teacher and holder of a pre and postnatal coaching certificate, Amanda offers a broad and inclusive approach to training. Whether clients are returning to exercise after childbirth, looking to build core strength, or improve flexibility and posture, she tailors each session to meet their individual needs. Her client-centred coaching philosophy ensures that each person’s goals, lifestyle, and well-being are at the heart of every plan she creates.
Amanda has a particular interest in strength training for menopause and long-term health. Supporting women through midlife and beyond with intelligent, strength-based programmes is a key part of her work, and she is passionate about helping clients build resilience, confidence, and vitality at every stage of life. She also brings specialist experience from her time as a GB Team ski coach, which allows her to support clients preparing for ski holidays or training with sport-specific goals in mind. From strength and conditioning to balance, mobility, and injury prevention, Amanda helps both athletes and recreational skiers build the physical foundations they need to perform confidently on the slopes.
